Columbiana Port Authority:
DRS worked closely with the Columbiana County Port Authority, entering into an agreement that gave DRS exclusive commercial rights for the use of the Port Authority’s ownership interest in the ACCESS fiber optic network. The network is comprised of 250 miles of fiber optic cable, which runs through Columbiana and Mahoning counties and connects 26 school districts. In addition to the fiber, DRS also manages a 22,000 sq ft technology complex owned by the port authority and located in Leetonia, OH.

Mahoning Valley Region:
DRS currently provides offsite backup to various cities throughout the Mahoning Valley Region. In addition, the various government offices utilize DRS cloud and co-location services. DRS has also provided Metro Fiber connections to city buildings throughout the Region.

MYRIS:
DRS has built a fiber network for the Mahoning/Youngstown Regional Information System. The fiber network connects all the government offices in Mahoning County to the Youngstown County office. This connectivity will enable the City of Youngstown to collaborate with other county offices, further enhancing technological development in the area.

City of Westerville and Otterbein College:
DRS partnered with the City of Westerville and Otterbein College to design a data center to provide new-generation business support, state-of-the-art facilities and world-class security. The data center will offer co-location, cloud services, affordable broadband and managed services and disaster recovery, among other things. DRS is responsible for the development, management and future promotion of the project.
